Goeffrey O'Hara 1882-1967 was a Canadian-American composer singer and music professor. He initially planned a military career but had to abandon this pursuit upon the death of his father. O'Hara moved to the United States in 1904. He wrote for Vaudeville and worked for the U.S. Government documenting traditional American Indian songs and as a singing instructor of patriotic songs for American troops during World War I. O'Hara was given an honorary doctorate by the University of South Dakota in 1947. Frances Ridley Havergal1836-1879 was an English religious poet and hymn writer. Accurately described because we look!
