His publications include Mymensingh Geetika, Eastern Bengal Ballads – Vols. 1-4, Bengali Ramayan Chaitanya and his Age and so on. Introduction by Dr. Sila Basak, Ph.D., D.Litt., FRAS (London), Born in Kolkata, 1947, Working as an academic attached to the Department of Folklore and Language Studies with various Universities. She is also associated with the training and research programmes in Folkloristics of the Asiatic Society, Kolkata.
