A letter on headed paper addressed Flaxley Finchley Road N W London the artist's home address to 'Dear Sir' arranging meeting and give a photograph. Briton Rivière RA 1840 -1920 was a British artist of Huguenot descent. He exhibited a variety of paintings at the Royal Academy but devoted much of his life to animal paintings. Size is 180mm x 117mm. Condition is good. Light folding crease. Gum residue to rear corners on reverse. Ref19257 <br/> <br/> unknown
