The two parts of volume 8, which apart from the frontispieces is not illustrated with engravings, are missing. Bindings scuffed and bumped with minor losses to the leather cover and a larger one to the spine of the seventh volume (approx. 3.5 cm in diameter), the copperplate engravings with slight set-off, joints of 3 volumes torn or split, pages and individual plates slightly foxed in places (volume 7 more severely affected with discoloured water stains in the margins) and occasionally with some crease marks to the corners, pages mostly only minimally and only in places more distinctly darkened, occasionally a bit loosened at the fold (binding generally tight), a few plates and pages with narrowly darkened margins and minimal marginal tears due to incorrect folding, title page of volume 1 slightly torn at the fold (approx. 2 cm), frontispiece there with scrape (slightly touching the text, not entering the image), in the same volume one quire loose, in volume 2 the plate with the winepress with darkened moisture stain (approx. 2.5 cm diameter, part of it with loss of image), front title, frontispiece and 2 folding plates in volume 7 loose, plate 32 in the same volume missing. Overall a good copy with copper engravings preserved in beautiful and strong impressions.‎
