Kleinenberg (1842-1897) und dem Vorwort von W. Kühne (1837-1900) die Zusammenarbeit gleich dreier führender Physiologen des 19. Jahrhunderts. Edizione del 1839 di questo trattato di fisiologia generale dell'anatomista e fisiologo tedesco Friedrich Tiedemann (1791-1861), esperto dell'anatomia del cervello, professore di anatomia e fisiologia a Heidelberg. Tiedemann dedicò tutta la sua vita allo studio delle scienze naturali e durante un soggiorno a Parigi divenne un ardente seguace di Cuvier. Traduzione con note di Giovanni Perrone.
