A picture of this book is available upon request by email. Freeman 2128. Wood 419. DNB describes the work as 'a botanical companion to White's Selborne'. The author describes nature, in a similar way as White, around the area he lived in near Bristol and Gloucester in England. The fine frontispiece is of his house and a magnificent old tree, the plates are botanical.
