It went through 12 parts, here we present the first 7. Although important, sets or even loose parts are rare.

1812 [3], 48 p., 5 engraved plates, later blind half calf over marbled boards, spine with five raised bands.Rare publication on arthropods, in particular scorpions and spiders. Neither in Horn-Schenkling, nor in Hagen. This is most likely all that has been published. Gottfried Reinhold Treviranus founded the famous Zeitschrift für Physiologie in 1824 and published his "Vermischte Schriften" (1816-21). This small monograph was published on behalf of the Physikalish-medicinischen Societät in Erlangen, and probably also published in their Abhandlungen. Some light foxing in the text and an old waterstain in the lower inner corner of the last text pages and plates. Nissen ZBI, 4168.

Si dedico' molto tempo alle scienze naturali, rivolgendo i suoi interessi dapprima all'entomologia e successivamente alla botanica. Divenuto cieco nel 1762, abbandono' le osservazioni scientifiche per dedicarsi alla filosofia.
