‎Un peuple où anarchie n’est pas synonyme de désordre : leur société s’autorégule grâce à un mécanisme particulier de cohésion sociale lié en grande part au système matrimonial. Ainsi le mariage Toubou, prohibé entre proches, met en relation deux parentèles distinctes et largement étrangères l’une à l’autre. Dons et contre-dons vont renforcer cette alliance tandis que vis à vis de l’extérieur une obligation de solidarité morale pour venger un éventuel affront devient extrêmement forte. Anarchie et violence d’une part, forte cohésion sociale résultant des alliances matrimoniales sont les deux caractéristiques essentielles d’une société Toubou à la texture sociale tout à la fois souple et ferme. Désormais les frais d'envoi sont de 6 € seulement pour les livres jusqu'à 1 kg (colissimo suivi), pour la France métropolitaine.‎
