Mais les comtemporains virent, dans ce livre, une critique du gouvernement de Louis XIV. Fénelon, disgracié, se retira dans son archevêché de Cambrai jusqu'à sa mort.‎

‎* Otto Fenichel (* 2. Dezember 1897 in Wien; 22. Januar 1946 in Los Angeles) war ein österreichischer Psychoanalytiker. . im Alter von 23 Jahren, wurde er Mitglied der Wiener Psychoanalytischen Vereinigung. In Berlin erhielt Fenichel seine fachärztliche Ausbildung in Neurologie und Psychiatrie bei Karl Bonhoeffer und Richard Cassirer an der Charité. 1931 publizierte er eine zweibändige Neurosenlehre; später im amerikanischen Exil erweitert und aktualisiert, begründet dieses Werk Fenichels Ruf als eines "Enzyklopädisten der Psychoanalyse". 1924 gründete Fenichel zusammen mit Harald Schultz-Hencke am Berliner Psychoanalytischen Institut das sogenannte "Kinderseminar", ein Zusammenschluss jüngerer Analytiker und Ausbildungskandidaten, das der informellen Diskussion diente. In seine Berliner Zeit fällt auch die Gründung einer informellen Gruppe marxistisch orientierter Psychoanalytiker (1929). Während seiner Emigration - 1934 nach Oslo, 1935 nach Prag, 1938 nach Los Angeles - organisierte er mit Hilfe von streng geheimen, nur für einen "inneren Kreis" bestimmten Rundbriefen den Kontakt zwischen etwa einem Dutzend in alle Welt zerstreuten Gruppenmitgliedern. Diese Rundbriefe, erst seit 1998 publik, zählen zu den wichtigsten Dokumenten zur problematischen Geschichte der Psychoanalyse zwischen 1934 und 1945, insbesondere auch zum Problem des von Freud veranlassten Ausschlusses von Wilhelm Reich, der anfänglich Mitglied der Gruppe war, aus der Internationalen Psychoanalytischen Vereinigung. Auf Otto Fenichel geht der Begriff der Organneurose zurück. Fenichel vertrat die Auffassung, dass bei der konversionshysterischen Form des Organerlebens die Verbindungen mit phantasierten sozialen Beziehungen erhalten blieben. Bei rein vegetativ bedingten funktionellen Störungen dagegen würden sie ganz oder teilweise verloren gehen. Fenichel, der in Europa aufgrund seiner Schriften und umfangreichen Rezensionstätigkeit eine Reputation als "Polyhistor der Psychoanalyse" erlangt hatte, konnte in der amerikanischen Gesellschaft nicht richtig Fuß fassen. ‎HOLOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED by FERDINAND I DUKE OF PARMA PIACENZA AND GUASTALLA thanking "Your Eminence" for his good wishes for the upcoming Christmas.‎

‎<p>Colorno December 14 1792. 1792. Fine. - Over 65 words penned in a secretarial hand on 9-1/8 inch high by 6-7/8 inch wide watermarked laid paper with an attached leaf. Writing from Colorno in the Province of Parma Ferdinand I Duke of Parma thanks his "Eminence" for his good wishes and Christmas greetings. Loosely translated the letter reads: "I received Your Eminence's dear letter of November 19 and I thank you for it wholeheartedly for the good wishes you offer me on the occasion of the upcoming Holy Christmas. I respond to these with my own equally lively and sincere wishes and pray your Eminence to be fully persuaded of them. I also pray you to believe me always with the most distinguished and true esteem and friendship." Signed "Ferdinand". There is an early annotation in ink at the top of the attached address leaf. There are later light annotations in pencil at the bottom of the letter. Folded vertically and horizontally else near fine.</p><p>Baptised Ferdinando Maria Filippo Lodovico Sebastiano Francesco Giacomo Ferdinand I 1751-1802 was Duke of Parma Piacanza and Guastalla. A member of the House of Bourbon-Parma he was considered the favorite grandson of King Louis XV and was also a grandson in the line of King Philip V of Spain. Ferdinand I is sometimes considered one of the minor exponents of Enlightened absolutism for expelling the Jesuits and abolishing the jurisdiction of the Inquisition from his domains. In 1801 he ceded the Duchy of Parma to France in the Treaty of Aranjuez and his son Louis was later granted the Grand Duchy of Tuscany then Etruria in compensation. Although the French cited other reasons for his death Ferdinand I is suspected to have died in Parma of poisoning at the age of 51. Still opposing the Treaty of Aranjuez on his deathbed Ferdinand had named his wife Maria Amalia as head of a regency council but the regency only lasted a few days before the Duchy of Parma was annexed to France.</p> Colorno, December 14, 1792.‎
