L’ouvrage compte 96 pages. L’auteur, Francis de Miomandre, eût le Prix Goncourt en 1908 pour Ecrit sur de l’Eau. Il raconte ici les amours très romanesques d’un Pantin et d’une Poupée japonaise. Les illustrations sont d’un style très personnel et souvent japonisantes. L’illustrateur, Paul GUIGNEBAULT, fut un illustrateur très en vogue. Notre exemplaire est en TRES BON ETAT.‎
