The slipcase has been constructed of white sailcloth sides and green paper faces the same sailcloth was used for the boards to evoke 'Billy Budd.' The paper at the edges are sunned and the cloth on the spine looks to be a little darkened with age light wear on leading edge. The boards are covered with this wonderful cloth and stamped on the spine with black decoration and the spine is slightly darkened. There is a bookplate on the front endpaper.
