Book sturdy hinges tight very solid and quite heavy will require extra postage for foreign sale. Illustrated profusely with full and half page illustrations by Gustave Dore. Perfect frontis under tissue: "It was yet early morning." Front corners worn and covers slightly bruised with some tiny spots discoloring on bottom of front cover and small tears. Text and interior are very good throughout with no markings signatures etc. This version appeared in 1867 and early editions state probable 1870 printing. Book shows no glimmer about what date it was printed. It emphasizes Dore's illustrations on the spine and there are no Notices or Advertisements at the end of the text.<br /></p> Cassell, Petter and Galpin hardcover
