Il s'agit de la réimpression de l'édition en caractères grecs majuscules de l'Anacréon que Bodoni fit paraître pour la première fois à Parme en 1784 en caractères minuscules. Il est dédié au Chevalier De Azara ambassadeur d'Espagne, devenu son conseiller et mécène. L'un des premiers chefs-d'Oeuvre de la typographie bodonienne.
