London England: Hodder and Stoughton c. 1912. First Edition. Hardcover--paper over boards. Good. No date. No author given. Small quarto 9 1/2" tall 352 pages 24 color tipped on plates gilt titles and decorations on beige cloth. A good hard cover copy overall exterior moderately worn back strip foxed and darkened; both hinges broken and rear hinge loose apparently causeed by bookworms but internal binding solid paper lighty yellowed with illustrations clean and bright. Plates are wonderful. Lack of author's name appears intentional as it was done on the original edition of 1719. Because of the broken hinges this is not collectible and common enough not to be worth rebinding but is still a terrific reading copy. Hodder and Stoughton hardcover
