‎Originalfotografie "Urlaub zum Fußballspielen ..." erhielten elf Insassen des Gefängnisse von Chelmsford, England, die sich zu einer Fußballelf zusammenfanden. Sie durften im Stadion von Chelmsford an einen Pokalwettbewerb teilnehmen u. errangen mit einem 6:4 Erfolg über die Lokalmannschaft von Chelmsford die begehrte Trophäe, die jetzt im Gefängnis einen Ehrenplatz erhalten wird. Unterstaatssekretär Lord Stonham vom Innenministerium überreichte den Pokal an die fußballspielenden Strafgefangenen, deren Gesichter auf alle Fotoso unkenntlich gemacht werden mußten. ‎Artiste anglais influencé par l'observation de la nature sauvage et domestiquée (arbres, torsions, ramifications, ombrages...), ses sculptures évoquent la minéralité. Il interroge le procédé classique de la fonte à cire perdue (qui permet de tirer un bronze à partir d’une sculpture ou d’un modelage) et à travers lui, le processus de création d’une sculpture. Il ne sculpte pas au préalable, il modèle directement la cire, en "plein" : l’épreuve tirée en bronze est donc unique. Il réintroduit le feu et les flammes, présentes dans le four au moment de la combustion, dans la conception même de l’œuvre. Cœur ardent au moment de sa fabrication, il est présenté froid, figé dans la cristallisation d’une forme idéale, recouvert d’une patine jaune-verte qui en rappelle sa nature première.‎
