<p>This hardbound ex-library book is in Very Good condition. The first edition was in 1940. Successive printings were termed "editions" and this copy is a "Fourth Edition." How many editions or printings the book received is not known; a "Sixth Edition" has been seen. This copy bears the usual library markings. Wear on the cloth covers is minimal and all the signatures of clear pages are tightly bound. One signed first edition was found for $750 but used copies are plentiful and for sale at moderate prices including for this good copy of the book.</p> Harper & Brothers hardcover
