Cotton Ken holds up for wonder the mangy motley pack of little 'strong men' who are now leading the world on a backward march to the Dark Ages." Multiple creases to detached front cover light soiling to partially detached back cover; interior in very good clean condition. This vintage magazine features a cover illustration by Wesley Neff of a Japanese man holding a camera with the title "Underhanded Underground Japan" about the Japanese fortification of the 1919 Mandated Islands. Other articles of interest include "The Old Man at the Bridge" by Ernest Hemingway "Land of Refuge" Zionism and Israel by Meyer Levin; "Government Made Easy" by Yardley; plus color centerfold illustration "The New Lilliput" by Derso and Kelen showing Adolph Hitler lounging in a field surrounded by miniature caricatures of world leaders. A piece on "Lenin Trotsky and Mussolini" is written by Dr. Angelica Balabanoff who knew all three men and was excommunicated from the Third Internationale.
