This is an account of a convict and his wife escape from an Australian penal colony a 3000 mile voyage recapture and James Boswell's defense of them. A fold out map illustrates the voyage. The map is in perfect condition. Includes a few other illustrations. 7" wide by 10.25" tall. Bound in the original printed paper-covered boards with a black cloth spine stamped in bright gold. The book's covers and slipcase are both stamped in a handsome reddish-orange and black geometric pattern. Complete with matching slipcase. First Printing of the First Edition. Hardcover. Assolta la ferma decennale, passa all'Alitalia come pilota. Matura intanto la passione per l'arte e sul finire degli anni Settanta si dedica alla critica quale professione.
