Coppee, Henry
History of the Civil War in America Volumes 1-4
Philadelphia: Joseph H. Coates & Co 1876. Written by Louis-Philippe-Albert d'Orléans comte de Paris and edited by Henry Coppee this four-volume history of the Civil War was originally published in French and is here translated for American audiences. Philippe was a volunteer in the Union Army serving under McClellan. His history of the Civil War is among the foremost contemporary references on the subject. This set features color fold-out maps detailing key battle and campaign sites as well as addenda detailing the command structure of the Union forces. This set of four volumes are in good condition overall with some wear and flaws to note. The spines of all four volumes are faded and the outer spine hinge of Volume 4 is cracked. The covers show some occasional wear and the corners are slightly bumped. Owner's labels and some infrequent pencil notes appear on endpapers; Volume 1 endpapers are chipped at the edges. Volumes range from 600-900 pages and measure approx. 6"x9". Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 6"x9". Joseph H. Coates & Co Hardcover

Coppetti Gianfranco
Gli anni delle scelte. Dal 25 luglio del 1943 al 1946
ill., br.
