Rose, Robert A - DDS D D S
The Lonely Eagles - The Story of America's Black Air Force in World War II

California: Tuskegee Airmen Inc. Los Angeles Chapter 1996. Later printing. Hardcover. Good. Red hardcover lacking dustjacket. Sixth printing 1996. Signed and inscribed on the front endpaper by Tuskegee Airman Roger C. Terry to Inez along with a second inscription perhaps from another airman but I can't make it out well enough to verify. Photo shows both signatures. A good copy with Wear at the edges and bending and scuffing at the spine tips. Smells lightly of incense from the previous owner. Binding solid and text clean and unmarked. 160 pp. filled with black and white photos of the airmen and their planes. A great little book nicely signed. Terry went on to challenge officer segregation in the Freeman Field officer's club incident.
Tuskegee Airmen, Inc., Los Angeles Chapter hardcover
