Beautifully illustrated: collotype is one of the most accurate and attractive methods of photomechanical tonal printing processes. Highly skilled and expensive process, it cannot produce more than a limited number of impressions. It has been used for single-sheet prints and luxury portfolios, and since the 1950s has been abandoned by all except a few small specialist firms.

Soft cover 21 cm 124 pp.</p><p>Στον ιεÏÏŒ βÏάχο της ΑκÏοπόλεως των Αθηνών αναφÎÏεται ήδη από τον ΌμηÏο τον 8ο Ï€.Χ. αιώνα ο αÏχικός πώÏινος ναός της Αθηνάς Πολιάδος του οποίου τα θεμÎλια επισημάνθηκαν σε μια θÎση ανάμεσα στο ΕÏεχθείο και τον μεταγενÎστεÏο ΠαÏθενώνα τα οποία όμως σήμεÏα δεν είναι οÏατά.<br />Ο ναός αυτός χÏονολογείται το αÏγότεÏο γÏÏω στο 525 Ï€.Χ. υπάÏχει όμως και η άποψη ότι τα ίδια τα θεμÎλια ανήκουν σε μια Ï€ÏωιμότεÏη φάση γÏÏω στο 570 Ï€.Χ. Πάντως ο εκατόμπεδος ναός της Αθηνάς Πολιάδος υπήÏχε ήδη το 560 Ï€.Χ.<br />Με μεγάλη συντομία σκιαγÏαφοÏμε τις ιστοÏικÎÏ‚ Ï„Ïχες του ΠαÏθενώνα όπως ανακατασκευάσθηκε μετά τα ΠεÏσικά. Μετά τη νίκη του ΓÏÎ±Î½Î¹ÎºÎ¿Ï Ï€Î¿Ï„Î±Î¼Î¿Ï Î¿ ÎœÎγας ΑλÎξανδÏος Îσπευσε να στείλει τα πολÏτιμα λάφυÏα της Ï€Ïοσωπικής φÏουÏάς του Î ÎÏση ΒασιλÎα των αθανάτων τις χÏυσÎÏ‚ ασπίδες οι οποίες αναÏτήθηκαν ως Ï„Ïόπαια στον ΠαÏθενώνα. Όμως φαίνεται πως ο χώÏος γÏÏω από τον ΠαÏθενώνα κÏÏβει και κάποια μυστικά που αναφÎÏονται στην Ï€ÏοϊστοÏία του ιεÏÎ¿Ï Î²Ïάχου της ΑκÏοπόλεως.</p> Malliares paperback
