Copy with manuscript ink annotations on one page. Bound in preceding the script is a 23 page shooting schedule with the cover leaf dated November 2 1980. <br /> <br /> Not to be confused with the television pilot film "Concrete Cowboys" starring Jerry Reed and Tom Selleck which preceded the series and aired on CBS on October 17 1979. The series premiered with a two-hour episode "Eldorado" with Geoffrey Scott replacing Tom Selleck's role and ran for a total of seven episodes before ending on March 21 1981. Later released on video under the series title "Ramblin' Man."<br /> <br /> J.D. Reed and Will Scott are a pair of naïve cowboy drifters traveling the back roads of the US in search of romance and adventure. In this episode J.D. and Will find themselves in Peoria Illinois where J.D. supposedly wins a aerospace business at dice if he and Will can beat Bubba Churck McCann and Momo Roosevelt Grier in a race to Chicago<br /> <br /> Tan untitled wrappers. Scarce edition given as gifts to distinguished guests. Fine. </p><p><b>John Nance Garner </b>1868 - 1967 nicknamed Cactus Jack was a southern conservative Democrat. He served as Texas state representative from 1898 to 1902 U.S. Representative from 1903 to 1933 and Speaker of the House from 1931 – 1933. In 1932 Garner ran for the Democratic Presidential nomination. New York Governor Franklin D. Roosevelt was chosen getting the necessary two-thirds after agreeing to make Garner his Vice-Presidential candidate. Garner was re-elected to the Seventy-third Congress and as Vice President of the United States at the same time. Only Schuyler Colfax had previously served as both Speaker of the House and President of the Senate on the same day. Garner resigned from the House just before being sworn in as Vice President an office he held until 1941. Garner who was not one of FDR's key advisors famously described the Vice-Presidency as being "not worth a bucket of warm piss."</p> books‎

Each volume is on handmade paper and richly illustrated with 75 full-page illustrations of fish and flies and numerous in-text photolithographs of fishing holes and tackle. </span>Contributors include such notable anglers as William Harris Archibald Mitchell John Quackenbos and George Van Siclen. In very good condition. Books from the library of the Roosevelts are scarce and desirable. William Harris writes in his introduction "I believe that Forest Lake and River will now and in the years to come be a marvel of beauty and skill to the angling fraternity a high landmark in book work and a testimonial to its author's artistic nature and practical appreciation of the needs of his brother anglers when in pursuit of their favorite pastime."
