Before the Great Depression and the stock market crash in October 1929 the Royal Hawaiian Hotel brought the well heeled swells who steamed their way to this haven for sun fun and golf. Dinner menu plus a note "to our patrons" including: "A visit to the Hawaiian Pineapple Company's cannery can be arranged through the front office" and Event of the Day: "Hawaiian Concert Coconut Grove at 8:30 P.M." Color illustrated throughout with a bird's eye view of the Royal Hawaiian and Moana Hotels on the beach at Waikiki on the cover. 1 cm closed tear on front and back cover.
