Sullo sfondo dell'Italia del 1978, con le sue agitazioni sociali, l'allarme terrorismo e un'agenda politica piegata all'emergenza, il medium più giovane, la televisione, si ritrova improvvisamente a giocare un ruolo determinante in una sfida traumatica che investe l'intero Paese e che la coglie quasi del tutto impreparata: il caso Moro. Nell'immaginario collettivo, televisivamente parlando, la memoria si muove tra il servizio di Paolo Frajese in onda nell'edizione straordinaria del Tg1 la mattina del 16 marzo, con la scena dell'agguato di via Fani, e le immagini del corpo di Moro in via Caetani riprese da Valerio Leccese, unica testimonianza filmata esistente che la Rai fu costretta a comprare da una piccola emittente romana, la Gbr. Immediatamente emerge il legame forte che unisce l'evento all'immagine, influenzandone la percezione e dilatandone senso e significato: un senso di cui, a distanza di quasi quarant'anni, si è ancora in cerca, come dimostrano le inchieste tuttora in corso della nuova Commissione parlamentare. In un continuo scambio tra piano storico e piano mediologico, intrecciando fonti storiografiche, istituzionali, giudiziarie, ricerche d'archivio e dati inediti emersi dai servizi televisivi, il volume ripropone la cronaca dei 55 giorni mettendo in luce anche gli aspetti sociologici e semiotici di narrazione e rappresentazione del fatto-notizia, nonché le conseguenze sul piano della ricostruzione sociale della realtà che l'uso del mezzo televisivo implica. Ne emerge una ricostruzione del caso Moro secondo un'ottica diversa che, partendo dal fatto e passando per la sua trasformazione in racconto, arriva a smontare ed esaminare la struttura e le modalità compositive del messaggio mediatico costruito intorno, e oltre, l'evento.

L'ultimo re. Umberto II di Savoia e l'Italia della luogotenenza

A Ravello, il 4 giugno 1944, un generale inglese in maniche di camicia e pantaloni corti chiede a Vittorio Emanuele III di firmare il decreto con cui il figlio Umberto diventa Luogotenente generale del Regno. Due anni dopo, a Ciampino, il 13 giugno 1946, Umberto sale sull'aereo dell'esilio. Fra questi avvenimenti scorre uno dei periodi più tumultuosi e confusi della storia italiana. Anziché analizzarlo dall'alto, Ludovico Incisa di Camerana sceglie di calarsi nel corso delle cose e di comporre un vero e proprio reportage: i grandi personaggi e le modeste comparse, le vicende drammatiche e gli episodi grotteschi, le gesta coraggiose e gli atti meschini scorrono sullo schermo secondo l'ordine e il ritmo dell'epoca. E le situazioni, gli uomini, gli avvenimenti su cui si ferma l'occhio di Incisa sono quelli che concorreranno a definire la forma dell'Italia negli anni seguenti, i suoi costumi politici e il suo stile sociale, i suoi vizi e le sue virtù: nel magma della Luogotenenza s'intravedono già i caratteri dell'Italia futura. ill., br. «Per queste festività lo Studio Museo Francesco Messina offre ai visitatori una mostra che mette a confronto due maestri coevi che, pur nella loro visione artistica e stilistica totalmente diversa, seppero intessere un intenso dialogo sui temi e il senso dell'arte. Entrambi condivisero il legame con la piccola cittadina ai piedi dell'Etna, Lin-guaglossa, dalla quale giungono oggi in prestito le opere di Salvatore Incorpora che dialogano con quelle di Francesco Messina nel luogo che quest'ultimo scelse come suo studio. Uno stile più classico quello di Messina al quale fa da contrappunto quello espressionista di Incorpora capace di suscitare emozioni nei confronti dei suoi soggetti prediletti: quell'umanità fiera costretta a cercare fortuna altrove, i vinti di Giovanni Verga. I dipinti, le sculture e i presepi di Salvatore Incorpora qui esposti, seppure nella loro multiformità, sono dominati dal colore e dal tratto dinamico, ed è interessante la capacità dell'artista di trovare spunti espressivi anche in materiali eterogenei che egli utilizza specialmente per realizzare i suoi presepi, piccoli microcosmi che rivelano la vita quotidiana della Sicilia della metà del Novecento. La prima retrospettiva milanese dedicata a Salvatore Incorpora non poteva quindi che aver luogo proprio allo Studio Museo Francesco Messina, un Museo che porta avanti la sua vocazione di spazio di confronto e dialogo tra le opere dello scultore siciliano milanese d'adozione e diversi artisti, dai maestri del Novecento sino ai talenti contemporanei.» (Dalla Prefazione di Tommaso Sacchi)
