‎br. Un problema molto diffuso di oggi è quello della dichiarata assenza di "voglia di studiare" che sempre più bambini e ragazzi manifestano, insieme a un generalizzato disamore per la scuola. Partendo da alcune considerazioni sul¬l'es¬sere genitori e figli in crescita oggi e sugli aspetti che influenzano il percorso di studio dei ragazzi, in queste pagine forniremo spunti di riflessione sugli stili educativi da evitare e suggerimenti su come impostare correttamente la relazione con i propri figli, che devono vedere nei genitori dei modelli da emulare piuttosto che degli amici con i quali porsi allo stesso livello. Una parte del volume è dedicata alle strategie di studio, di lettura e di memorizzazione e alla gestione del tempo. Molti suggerimenti possono - e forse dovrebbero - essere condivisi: sarà infatti il ragazzo a dover uscire dalla condizione "svogliata" in cui si trova. Quindi a lui/lei sono dedicate indirettamente e talvolta direttamente queste pagine, che possono contribuire a rendere lo studio un'esperienza entusiasmante, coinvolgente e anche divertente. Il nostro obiettivo è quello di fornire indicazioni utili ad aiutare i nostri figli a sviluppare un amore per lo studio e, soprattutto, un piacere di apprendere che li accompagnino per tutta la vita. Questo libro aiuta a: Conoscere gli aspetti del contesto attuale e le criticità fondamentali che influenzano e ostacolano la "voglia di studiare"; Capire come sostenere la motivazione all'apprendimento e l'attenzione e in che modo utilizzare le strategie per allenare la memoria e gestire il tempo; Intervenire per migliorare l'approccio allo studio dei propri figli attraverso un metodo efficace e per aiutarli ad affrontare esami e verifiche controllando l'ansia e gestendo la frustrazione dell'eventuale insuccesso in termini costruttivi.‎
