The appendixes are a bibliography illustrations from rubbings of binding tools and indexes including of authors of 15th century printers and publishers and of provenance including binders scribes and illuminators. Friedlaender had fled Switzerland for the US in 1936 duly becoming an investment banker in New York. He was a serious and knowledgeable book and manuscript collector with a focus on incunabula and early printing in general and on illuminated manuscripts while not neglecting works by later European authors. . . . NOTE that as the volumes weigh close to 3kg there will most probably be a carriage supplement levied the exact amount depending on destinatin and service selected. <br/> <br/> hardcover
