Sir Harry Preston (1860-1936) was at once a successful Brighton hotelier, keen boxing enthusiast and general all-round sportsman. His autobiography contains much material on boxing luminaries including Jack Johnson, Jim Driscoll, Jack Dempsey and many others. He was knighted in 1933 for services to sport and charity. Preston is buried at Cuckfield. UNCOMMON IN THIS CONDITION.

A good acceptable example of this very rare work which was bought out to accompany Henry Price's New Map of the County of Hereford which is advertised at the rear of the book. Copac listing a single copy at Cardiff University Libraries.
