Complete With Full Margins As Issued With Title In French Below The Image Which Is Approximately 39.5 X 30 Cm. The Engraver's Name Is Also Present At Lower Right. Philibert-Louis Debucourt 1755 - 1832 Was A French Painter And Engraver. Debucourt Was Born In Paris In 1755 And Became A Pupil Of Vien. He Executed A Few Plates In Mezzotint Such As The Heureuse Famille The Benediction De La Mariée And The Cruche Cassée After His Own Designs. Most Of His Work Was However In Aquatint. He Became The Leading Maker Of Multi-Plate Colour Prints Combining Washes Of Aquatint With Line-Engraving.2 He Used A Number Of Different Techniques But Most Involved Three Colour Plates And A Fourth Key Plate Outlining The Design In Black. Debucourt's Father-In-Law Was The Sculptor Louis-Philippe Mouchy. In The Marriage Contract Mouchy Generously Offered To Provide A Three-Room Apartment At The Louvre Where Debucourt Lived For Twelve And A Half Years. The Address Of This Apartment Is Often Given On His Prints. Some Of His Work Was Satirical Such As La Promenade Publique An Aquatint Of 1792 Showing A Crowd In The Gardens The Palais-Royal. As Well As Work From His Own Designs He Made Aquatints After Carle Vernet Including The Horse Frightened By A Lion The Horse Frightened By Lightning And The Strayed Huntsman. Den Tafeln vorgebunden ist ein handschriftliches alphabetisches Verzeichnis der auf den Tafeln abgebildeten Pflanzen (Index) in englischer Sprache, das durchaus nützlich ist, aber auch, sollte es als störend empfunden werden, entfernt werden kann. Gesuchtes Standardwerk über die florale Bildsprache des Jugendstils und die Verwendung floraler Motive in der dekorativen Kunst, im Besonderen bei der Tapetenherstellung, bei Teppichen und Wandteppichen, in der Keramik, im Buchwesen, bei Stickereien und Wohntextilien, in der Glaskunst und Glasmalerei, bei Mosaiken, in der Goldschmiedekunst usw. Enthalten sind 50 mehrfarbige florale Bildtafeln auf Karton. Maurice Pillard Verneuil (1869 - 1942), ein Schüler des französisch- schweizerischen Dekorationskünstlers Eugène Grasset (1845 - 1917), entwickelte früh, inspiriert von japanischer Kunst, eine Vorliebe für farbkräftige florale Designs, die zu seinem Leitmotiv bei der Gestaltung von Fliesen, Textilien und Tapeten wurden. Seine Entwürfe umfassten sowohl die Jugendstil- als auch die Art-Deco-Epoche. In einer späteren Schaffensperiode wandte er sich stärker geometrischen Formen zu. Wie Henri Toulouse-Lautrec (1864 - 1901) und der Graphiker und Maler Jules Chéret (1836 - 1932) trat auch Verneuil mit zahlreichen Plakatarbeiten in Erscheinung.

br. Per lungo tempo il tema delle architetture penitenziarie è stato trascurato dalla cultura architettonica contemporanea. Oggi, che il tema della detenzione è giunto all'attenzione dell'opinione pubblica in maniera più insistente, sempre di più ci si è resi conto della necessità di un sistema penitenziario più efficiente e in grado di produrre cambiamenti positivi nei reclusi. Risulta quindi necessario ripensare l'architettura della detenzione in termini di qualità dello spazio e rispetto della dignità degli individui. La definizione di strutture penitenziarie a trattamento responsabilizzante sembra essere la soluzione più appropriata. Il volume si concentra nell'elaborazione di strumenti organizzativo-funzionali per le strutture a custodia attenuata in regime aperto. Lo studio punta a individuare i principi indispensabili a una progettazione efficace, quali: la localizzazione, il dimensionamento, l'organizzazione spaziale, la tipologia dello spazio abitativo e, ultima ma non meno importante, la razionalizzazione dei flussi interni. Gli elementi chiave individuati sono stati sintetizzati in una serie di criteri progettuali generali con l'obiettivo di risolvere il rapporto tra modello funzionale e struttura tipologica, ovvero tra schema di funzionamento e configurazione planimetrica dell'edificio, nonché il rapporto tra l'edificio e la struttura urbana su cui insiste.
