Released in two parts "Olympia: Festival of Nations" and "Olympia: Festival of Beauty." From the archive of Maurice Bessy with his rubber stamp and light holograph annotations on the verso. <br/><br/>Based on Riefenstahl's photobook from the previous year "Schonheit im Olympischen Kampf." A rare example where a photobook and a film are equally important as both works of art and a historical document. Riefenstahl made the book and the film as propaganda for Hitler and spent a lifetime trying to live down her devotion to him but this work in particular is so powerful as to stand apart from the reasons for which it was made. ‎Koln: Self published 1982. Draft script for an unproduced German film called "Cabrio 174" written by Lennart Kremser slated to star Klaus Kinski. Laid in is a holograph letter addressed to Kinski from Kremser dated 1982 and signed by Kremser. The letter states that Kremser wrote the screenplay with Kinski in mind as the lead role in a film that would be a "political science-fiction fairy tale." Both script and letter German text. <br/><br/>The year Kinski received Kremser's script 1982 was a busy year for the actor. He just finished shooting James Toback's "Love and Money" and began working on James Glickenhaus' film "The Soldier" Aaron Lipstadt's "Android" and also worked with longtime friend and enemy Werner Herzog as Brian Sweeney in "Fitzcarraldo."<br/><br/>Cream wrappers.
