Full of pictures of their homes and interiors gardens family and staff livestock outbuildings machinery and beautiful views of the land. Envoi autographe : “Bien cordialement, à Jean Caupenne / J.P.” Bon état, dos légèrement embruni, coin sup. plié au plat inf. La revue Mesures, [22] numéros en 22 livraisons du n° 1 (15 janvier 1935) au n° 4 (15 avril 1940) et un numéro spécial en hommage à Henry Church (avril 1948), parut trimestriellement de 1935 à 1940. Elle fut financée et dirigée par Henry Church, avec l’aide de Jean Paulhan et du comité de lecture, composé de Bernard Groethuysen, Giuseppe Ungaretti, Henri Michaux, Vladimir Nabokov[-Sirine] et Michel Leiris… Adrienne Monnier en assura la commercialisation, puis José Corti. Jean Caupenne, surréaliste de la première heure, collaborateur des premiers numéros de la Révolution Surréaliste, est resté dans la mémoire de Luis Bunuel et André Breton pour avoir avec Georges Sadoul écrit et envoyé la plus belle lettre d'injure Surréaliste.
