‎Rarissime; L'auteur était avocat au Parlement de Toulouse, mais il reprend les conceptions théologiques les plus strictes concernant le prêt à intérêt.La constitution de rente fut massivement employée en France aux XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles pour pallier l'absence de système de crédit bancaire, la religion catholique interdisant de toucher des intérêts. Jusqu'à la fin du XVIIIe siècle, l'immense majorité du crédit en France passait par ce système, extrêmement imparfait : en effet, crédit garanti sur un bien immobilier, et remboursable par anticipation, mais à l'initiative du créancier, ce type d’emprunt imposait au prêteur une perte de contrôle du capital : il ne peut exiger de remboursement. Fermoirs en métal (malheureusement celui du haut manque), date du 16 avril gravée sur celui du bas. Tranches dorées. Gardes en soie moirée, dédicace du père de la propriétaire (Rome, 16 avril 1893).
