Tipped in frontis photograph 10 x 6 cm from an engraving. Previous owner's name on the title page. Book plate on the front paste down - the book was awarded as a student prize in 1867 plus a later stamp below said book plate. The externals are quite sunned and faded with moderate shelf wear. the end papers are browned with light and sparse foxing noted throughout the text. The binding is a tad shaken though still quite solid. The interior is clean aside from the noted foxing. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted. All in all a very serviceable copy. . The binding is a tad shaken while the externals show mild wear rubbing to the edges and wear to the board corners. Previous owner's name dated 1892 on the front paste down end paper.
