This is the second edition revised and amplified by the author. Preface by Alban Goodier from the first English edition of 1931 is present as is the preface by Msgr. Carlo Salotti dated 1929. The actual first edition was done in 1928 and was in Italian. Illustrated with full page sepia toned photographs. Thirty four pages of appendices detailing testimonies and papal references are at the back. The first page has been removed the externals show moderate wear and surface soiling whilst the interior is clean.
