Signed by the author on front free endpaper without dedication but with inscription "Best Wishes" dated 2/2/76." Also signed on half title without inscription by journalist Nick Thimmesch. Octavo. 351 pages. Illustrated dust jacket with original $8.95 price intact; book in yellow and black boards with gilt lettering to spine. Jacket shows a few small tears and chips along edges with dampstaining to top edge over spine mostly visible from interior but with a bit of toning visible externally. Crease to back inner flap from hasty closure. Matching stain to cloth at head of spine where color bled otherwise boards are square with some light bumping to corners and spine ends. Top page edges dusty and smudged with a couple small watermarks which have not encroached into pages themselves. Binding is sound and pages unmarked. Colson's story of his conversion from Nixon's hatchet man or "hit man" as described by H.R. Haldeman to a born again Christian. Colson later founded the Prison Fellowship USA a Christian organization devoted to helping prisoners. Chosen Books unknown
