A picture of this book is Griffin 263: 'An account based on Harcourt's colonizing voyage to Guiana in 1608-1609, reprinted from the 1613 first edition, but includes the additions made by Harcourt in the second edition. Another appendix contains a report on the Marwin (Maroni) River sent to Harcourt in about 1612. The Relation is useful for its ethnography, natural history and scheme for colonization.' Cox ii, 256: 'A valuable supplement to Raleigh's narrative of 1596.' National Maritime Museum 299. Sabin 30297, referring to the 1613 and 1626 editions:' Both editions are very rare'.
