With a sample colour map from the Atlas, list of maps and plans, and an order form. Single leaf, double sided, measuring approximately 9.5 x 12 inches (24 x 30cm). Near Fine Condition. Johnston's Colour Map of Black Sea is incredibly detailed, showing part of the coastal countries including Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria. The Atlas contained 112 coloured plates, maps, and plans of cities, and an introduction, giving an account of geographical discovery and political territorial changes in the nineteenth century, by J. Scott Keltie, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Geographical Society, London.
