Full score to this rare first try at opera by young Wagner 1831. 36pps some fragility of the paper oversized Sprache: German lists this as first time published in this format withdrawn from music college library stamp NY and bound in stiff library binding. Wagner's sister Rosalie appeared in the play where she sacrifices her life to King Enzio to obtain a military commission for her needy brother. This music was part of a reactive history of the period in which German culture was shown being destroyed by its enemies the Catholic Church and France.
