B. Schott's Sohne Mainz 13.5" X 11" in marbled boards with leather spine and corners. Beautifully marbled endpapers and edges also. Top 2.5" of backstrip missing. Heavily rubbed and abraded at corners and along spine edges. Front hinge is cracking but still holding on. Wagner's Walkure rendered into 297pp of very challenging piano music. Breitkopf & Hartel Leipzig No date - mid 19th Century 13 x 10.75" in half Leather with fancy marbled boards end papers and edges. Leather is very heavily rubbed along edges of spine and at corners. leather drying out along hinges and starting to crack from bottom along hinge. Book consists of 252pp last one blank of piano music. Apparently the entire score of Tristan & Isolde arranged for the piano. Very fancy victorian-type letters on the title page. GOOD PLUS to VERY GOOD MINUS condition. This book appears to have been bound some time in the mid to late 19th century. There is no publishing date. The contents were probably published loose and the binding was commissioned by the owner. The name K.C.
