Miniatur-Porträt. - Don Juan de Austria Ritter Johann von Österreich außerehelicher Sohn Kaiser Karls V. u. der Gürtlerstochter Barbara Blomberg wurde auf Veranlassung von Papst Pius V. 1571 als "Generalkapitän der Meere" zum Oberbefehlshaber der Flotte der "Heiligen Liga" gegen die Türken ernannt u. führte die Flotte Schiffe aus Spanien Venedig Savoyen Genua Malta der Toskana u. päpstliche Schiffe am 7.
