Three parts are inscribed and signed by the author (dedication to the French malacologist Arthur Bavay). Uncut, partly unopened. Rear wrapper of "Arca" partly missing, otherwise a very good, internally clean set. Between the years 1907 and 1940, the French malacologist and bivalve specialist Éduard Lamy (1866-1942) published a uniform series of taxonomical revisions of Bivalvia, based largely on the material housed in the natural history museum in Paris. All were published in the Journal de Conchyliologie, and these are the rare offprints of all but the last few parts. The subjects (families, genera) are as follows: Arca (1907); Limopsis (1912); Pectenculus (1912); Scrobiculariidae (1914); Mesodesmatidae (1914); Mactridae (1917-1918); Astartidae (1919); "Cypricardiacea et les Isocardiacea" (1920); Lucinacea (1920-1912); Carditacea (1922); "Saxicavidae et des Gastrochaenidae" (1925); Chama (1928); Limidae (1930); and Anatina (1934). After 1934, additional parts on Mytilidae, and Plicatula were published.‎
