‎Aus dem "Petit Atlas Maritime". Im Plattenrand rechts oben bez. "Tome III. N°. 53.". Maßstab: 10 Echelles de Dix Lieues Communes = 4,5 cm. Der Reiz dieser Karten liegt gerade darin, dass es echte Gebrauchskarten waren, die dennoch mit einer hübschen Kartusche und einer dekorativen Kompassrose geschmückt sind. Die Ufer sind durch eine dunklere türkise Färbung koloriert, der Golf und die See mit einem zarten grün unterlegt. Bei Karten dieser Art handelt es sich nicht um eine Land- oder Seekarte, sondern um eine sogenannte Revierkarte. Diese Karten kamen zur Anwendung, wenn das Schiff mittels der großskalierten Seekarte (Portulankarte) die Küste erreicht hatte und nun im küstennahen Bereich mehr Details zur Navigation benötigte. Daher enthalten diese Karten Angaben zu Wassertiefen und relevante Landmarken. Teils finden sich auch Angaben zu anderen wichtigen Details wie Frischwasserquellen oder/und militärischen Befestigungen oder Zollstellen. Aber auch ergänzende Informationen wie Lage der Hafenbefestigungen, Kaufmannsniederlassungen der verschiedenen Nationen usw. Sie sind bei Bellin bereits dem barocken theatralischen Dekorationstil entwachsen und reduzieren die Ornamentik auf die Roccaillen der Bezeichnungskartusche.
