The novel then picks up in 1917 in France when Veronique becomes drawn into a mystery which only Arsene Lupin can solve. By Maurice Leblanc who in this novel blends together the detective genre with fantasy and sci-fi.Sixteen pages of adverts to the rear dated February 1920. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally smart. Fading to the spine and head of the front board. Very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Light marks to the boards.
