Circa 1930. 1930. Good. - Fifteen bars of musical notation penned in ink by the Polish-American composer and conductor Tadeusz Jarecki on a 6-5/8 inch high by 10-1/4 inch wide sheet of ruled music paper. Signed "Jarecki" at top right the composition is titled "Snow White Kimono" at the top center with "Violin" penciled at the top left above the notation "Moderato". A note has been crossed out and corrected in pencil at bottom followed by a brief annotation. The sheet is soiled with creases along the edges and corners and a short tear to the right edge which touches on the last note of the second line. Good. <p>The Polish-American composer and conductor Tadeusz Jarecki was the son of the composer Henryk Jarecki. He studied with Taneyev in Moscow and Jacques-Dalcrose in Hellerau. In 1917 he won first prize at the Berkshire Festival for his String Quartet Op. 16. Leaving Poland permanently in 1936 he settled in New York in 1946. As a composer he was influenced by Wagner and Strauss. Circa [1930]. unknown

Very good. - Sixteen dense bars of musical notation with words penned in ink by the Polish-American composer and conductor Tadeusz Jarecki on a 7-3/4 inch high by 8 inch wide sheet of ruled music paper. The composition which appears to be a song with words is signed "T. Jarecki" at top right. It's title is penned in Polish at the top center. Once folded there are minor creases to the edges. Very good. <p>The Polish-American composer and conductor Tadeusz Jarecki was the son of the composer Henryk Jarecki. He studied with Taneyev in Moscow and Jacques-Dalcrose in Hellerau. In 1917 he won first prize at the Berkshire Festival for his String Quartet Op. 16. Leaving Poland permanently in 1936 he settled in New York in 1946. London January 1942. 1942. Good. - Seven bars of musical notation penned in ink by the Polish-American composer and conductor Tadeusz Jarecki on an 11-1/2 inch high by 9-1/8 inch wide sheet of ruled music paper. Titled "Crakov Trumpet Call" at top left with the number "2" centered at the top of the page probably indicating page 2. The manuscript is annotated as a "Fragment from a Symphonic Poem by Tadeusz Jarecki" to the right of the last bar and dated "London Jan. 1942" by the composer. Several corrections have been made in orange-red crayon. Apparently this was a manuscript of the work in progress with additional music penciled below the manuscript as well as within the 3 middle bars of the manuscript. More musical notes are roughly penned and penciled on the verso of the page. Folded twice vertically the sheet is soiled with creases along the edges and corners and a short tear to the right edge and another to the top edge. Good. <p>The Polish-American composer and conductor Tadeusz Jarecki was the son of the composer Henryk Jarecki. He studied with Taneyev in Moscow and Jacques-Dalcrose in Hellerau. Wenn es gut ist will ich gerne mit Ihnen arbeiten resp. es Ihnen abkaufen [...]". - Georg Jarno war 1907 auf Einladung seines Bruders, des Josefstadt-Direktors Josef Jarno, nach Wien gekommen und schrieb gemeinsam mit Bernhard Buchbinder für Josefs Gattin, die Soubrette Hansi Niese, die Operette "Die Försterchristl". Nach deren durchschlagendem Erfolg als freischaffender Komponist leben könnend, schrieb Jarno noch einige andere Operetten, denen allerdings wenig bis kein Erfolg beschieden war. - Etwas angestaubt und abgegriffen und mit Absenderstempel.

An den Sänger Ludwig Cramolini (1805-1884): "So eben erfahre ich von unserem Götz daß er Dich schriftlich gebethen, Ihm in seinem Benefiz welches künftigen Montag statt finden soll, mitzuwirken; auch ich bitte Dich recht herzlich wenn Du es möglich machen kannst, Ihm diese Bitte nicht zu versagen, es wird Dir unfehlbar von größtem Nutzen sein indem Dir ganz gewiss die hiesige Intendanz dabei ein convenables Gastspiel anbieten wird. Ich habe dies aus sicherer Quelle und würde mich ungemein freuen einige vergnügte Abende in Deiner Gesellschaft zubringen zu können. Noch einmal refüsiere obigen Bittsteller nicht denn er ist unsere gute alte Haut [...]". - Jaskewitz stammte aus Wien und war ab 1840 in Wiesbaden engagiert (vgl.
