br. Non solo occasioni per ascoltare musica nuova o grandi classici. I festival sono diventati, con il tempo, a partire dagli anni Duemila e dal boom europeo del Primavera Sound, luoghi di aggregazione, comunità che si riuniscono sotto un palco, progetti dove musica, cultura, arti, intrattenimento e turismo trovano una dimensione unica. In Italia alcuni festival hanno avuto un impatto importante sul territorio che li ospita: Locus Festival, diffuso tra i trulli e la terra rossiccia della Valle d'Itria pugliese, e Ortigia Sound System, un'esperienza che avvolge l'isola a pochi passi da Siracusa, rappresentano entità che coniugano musica e valorizzazione del territorio. Altri progetti, invece, ridisegnano scenari musicali, scrivono nuove traiettorie, interpretano e restituiscono al pubblico le innovazioni del presente: Club to Club, partito come festival di puro clubbing, a spasso tra varie località di Torino, è diventato punto di riferimento internazionale dell'avant-pop, il pop d'avanguardia, definizione che può sembrare ossimorica, ma non lo è, e che al meglio rappresenta gli ibridi tra cantautorato, sperimentazioni ed elettronica. MiAmi a Milano, poi, è portavoce della nuova musica italiana che non conosce confini e barriere di genere. Dai cantautori ai producer fino ai rapper, il festival milanese ha sin dall'inizio saputo interpretare i movimenti della musica made in Italy. Che funziona dalle nostre parti ma che vola anche all'estero. Ferrata Sotto Le Stelle e Beaches Brew rappresentano, invece, coordinate musicali differenti ma sempre attente alle novità e ai cambiamenti che investono la musica, la cultura, la società.

Text throughout enclosed in engraved ornamental borders. There is a modern title page following the facsimile marking the beginning of a 16 page commentary by Amlen dated 1966. World Cat shows 14 library holdings of this 1966 printing only one of which is in the U.S. twelve are in German libraries; one is in an Australian library. 534 pages. Text is in German. Item Type: Book. Text block is tight bright and unmarked. Spine is slightly darkened from exposure and shows a little wear at the hinges. Corners are sharp although the bottom corner of the front cover shows wear. Slipcase which is wrapped in the faux vellum paper as well is intact with no splitting although there are a couple of bumps at the top front and bottom back corners. Previous owner's bookplate is on the front free end paper and an earlier owner's stamped name and address at the bottom of the FEP has been whited out. Page edges are dyed red. Quantity Available: 1. Composta da Giuseppe Rachel su un testo di Salvatore Sini, nella sua storia ormai secolare è stata interpretata da musicisti popolari e d'ambito colto, cori polifonici, rockers, cantanti d'opera e jazzisti, che hanno realizzato decine di versioni diverse fra loro e ricche di fascino. Tra le più celebri quelle dei cori nuoresi, di Maria Carta e di Andrea Parodi, grazie alle quali "Non potho reposare" è stata apprezzata anche al di fuori dei confini regionali. Il volume presenta i risultati della ricerca condotta nell'arco di due anni da Marco Lutzu che per studiare le singolari vicende di questa canzone si è avvalso di metodologie d'indagine mutuate dalla musicologia storica, dall'etnomusicologia e dagli studi di popular music. Il CD (19 tracce) allegato al libro raccoglie alcune tra le più significative versioni di "Non potho reposare", scelte per il loro valore documentale oltre che per le qualità artistiche degli esecutori.
