In una importante opera intitolata "Medicina rationalis systematica" raccolse le sue teorie delle quali egli afferma che esse devono servire soprattutto alla pratica. Il ragionamento e l’esperienza devono, secondo lui, formare i fondamenti della medicina, che poi per la spiegazione dei fatti deve servirsi della fisica, della chimica e dell’anatomia.. Il posto che gli fu attribuito nella storia della medicina da molti storici non è immeritato” - Wellcome, p. 283 e Blake p. 217 citano l’ediz. di Halle 1718-40. Qualche lieve alone ma buon esemplare.
