LONDON serves as a exquisite example of one of Thomas Coates’ fine productions of illustrated travel books. It shares with Constantinople the honor of being the only city to have two full volumes devoted to it. The other two volume entries cover entire countries or regions. There is provided here a great deal of attention to the Royal history the Tower and government buildings. Hampton Court and Windsor are also included.
