Mannheim, 1779. 33 cm. 3 Seiten auf Kanzleibogen, im Falz getrennt ¶ - Abschrift der Anweisung an das Oberamt Umstadt vom 17. April 1779. Das Oberamt Umstadt war 1648 - 1803 in gemeinschaftlichem Besitz von Hessen-Darmstadt und der Kurpfalz, danach endgültig in hessischem Besitz. Anlass ist ein Bericht über die Verurteilung der lutherischen Gemeinde zu Grosszimmern und gegen dortige Lutheraner verfügte Pfändungen. Angesichts zunehmender Spannungen durch "Verlegung einiger Darmstädtischen Hessischen Mannschaft zu Unterstützung derer widerspenstigen Unterthanen des Amts Habitzheim" wird geraten, "sich in Communications-Pflege einzulassen, und, wiefern von dort auf ein sonstig guter Grund zu solcher Umkehr beygebracht werden kann, derselben Abberufung zu gesinnen und über den Erfolg seiner Zeit ebenfalls Bericht zu erstatten." -

Juni 1779 "… auf Bericht des Oberamts Umstadt die in Sachen Schultheiss und Gericht zu Habitzheim (bei Otzberg in Hessen) entgegen dortigen Gemeind …" Darüber hinaus wird festgestellt, "dass allbereits eine grosse Anzahl derley Ereignissen in denen amtlichen Protocollis, und ... Acten, und ebenso auf die dagegen ergriffene Remedur und Hülfsmittel sich vorfinden müssen, in deren gemäss sich nun auch gegenwärtige Fälle fürgefahren werden können und sollen …" Das Oberamt Umstadt, in dem Otzberg lag, war 1648 - 1803 in gemeinschaftlichem Besitz von Hessen-Darmstadt und der Kurpfalz, danach endgültig in hessischem Besitz.
