(Viaggi - Asia - Montagna - Himalaya - Karakorum) In 8°, legatura posteriore in mezza pelle blu con punte, dorso a sei nervi con titoli e filetti dorati e ricche impressioni a secco, carta marmorizzata policroma ai piatti, pp. (4),215,(5), un ritratto dell'autore in antiporta, una cartina geografica ripiegata, numerose tavole con immagini fotografiche in bianco e nero, 4 panorami più volte ripiegati fuori testo. Diario dei primi due viaggi di esplorazione nel Karakorum di Cesare Calciati, topografo e naturalista nelle spedizioni dei coniugi americani Bullock-Workman (1908 e 1911), pubblicato postumo dalla moglie Anguissola Calciati Scotti. Piccola firma di appartenenza con data al bordo superiore del frontespizio. Alcune lievi, ininfluenti tracce di ossidazione all' interno ma volume ben conservato in solida e gradevole legatura.

Following the death of one member of the party and the retirement through illness of another, the bulk of the work of testing the mountain's defences was left to two men, George Mallory and Guy Bullock.
