Manila on Parade - What to Buy, Where to Go, What to See: Compliments of the Canadian Pacific Ry. Co.
A very informative Manila tourist's handbook, apparently issued for passengers arriving on ships operated by Canadian Pacific. Emphasis is placed upon high-end shopping, "Manila" cigars, and Baguio tourism, but there is much more. All 72 pages are densely packed with informative text, many black and white reproductions of photos, classy ads for local businesses. Handsome two-color ad for the Manila Hotel on back cover includes a photo of the Hotel. Undated but a hint on page 34 suggests a printing date circa 1936. Clean and unmarked with moderate wear. Binding tight. A well-preserved copy of this proudly presented introduction to Manila and the Philippines, printed shortly before the Japanese invasion of WWII. Book
