‎1 tapuscrit d'époque, Henry Houssaye, 24 Place Malesherbes, Paris 17e, s.d. [ circa 1945 ], 30-53-42-32 pp.‎

‎Fils du directeur de l'agence Havas Charles Houssaye, Henri Houssaye (1912-1970) fit partie du conseil de rédaction de la revue La Nouvelle Saison, avec Barjavel ou Jean-Louis Barrault. En 1945, il publia un roman "Lolita" deux ans avant Vladimir Nabokov. Dans le tapuscrit manifestement inédit de cette pièce de théâtre en cinq actes, Henry Houssaye évoque la résistance et les "partisans" en Normandie, chaque acte évoquant une année, de 1940 à 1944. Le tapuscrit est signé et corrigé en de rares endroits. Etat satisfaisant (brochage de toile goudronné très modeste, bon état par ailleurs)‎

‎Lettre Autographe Signée d'Arsène Houssaye à en-tête de la Revue de Paris (l'Artiste), dont il fut directeur à partir de 1843. Lettre adressée à Bocage (1799-1862), acteur, puis directeur du Théâtre de l'Odéon.1 page format in-8°(21x14) sous chemise biographique. Très bon état.-De l'ancienne collection A. Baron, assureur, puis syndic-liquidateur à Bourges.Arsène Houssaye, de son vrai nom Arsène Housset, né le 28 mars 1815 à Bruyères-et-Montbérault, mort le 26 février 1896 à Paris est un homme de lettres français. Il est également connu sous le pseudonyme d'Alfred Mousse. Il a dirigé le quotidien populaire La Presse. Baudelaire lui a dédié les poèmes en prose du Spleen de Paris. En 1848, il participe au mouvement réformateur qui précède la révolution. De 1849 à 1856, il est nommé administrateur général de la Comédie-Française, où il fait entrer les pièces de Victor Hugo, d'Alexandre Dumas père, d'Alfred de Musset de François Ponsard ou de Léon Gozlan.‎

‎Poème autographe signé sous le pseudonyme d'Octave de Parisis et dédié à Victor Hugo "celui qui a quatre fois vingt ans" et dont leur auteur précise qu'il a été écrit chez le poète. L'auteur est Arsène Houssaye qui a choisi le nom d'un des personnages de son roman Les Grandes Dames (Dentu, 1874) pour le signer. Il envoie ce poème à Philippe Javel, imprimeur à Arbois mais surtout rédacteur de l'Écho (mal orthographié par Houssaye en Échos) du Jura dans lequel il lui demande de les publier ses vers. Long poème de 18 vers à la gloire du poète qui est à cette époque rentré de l'exil, élu au Sénat et dont la réputation littéraire n'est plus à faire. Handsome autograph inscription signed by Arsène Houssaye to Victor Hugo, "au maître des maîtres / à mon cher Victor Hugo / Arsène Houssaye [To the master of masters / my dear Victor Hugo / Arsène Houssaye]", on a leaf bound in at start of first volume. The page with the inscription has a small angular lack, a few spots mostly affecting the endpapers. [FRENCH VERSION FOLLOWS] Dixième édition en partie originale car revue et augmentée. ‎- 9 mai 1962, en feuilles. - Lettre manuscrite inédite d'une page du traducteur de Blanchot en allemand adressée à Blanchot en 1962 après la lecture de L'attente l'oubli qui motivera la première traduction de Hubner. Il s'agit sans doute d'une des premières lettres de l'écrivain allemand adressée à Maurice Blanchot. Il y manifeste son émerveillement pour l'écriture de Blanchot dont il traduira par la suite quatre ouvrages. Les éditions Kimé ont récemment publiée la correspondance entre les deux écrivains à partir de 1963 et du travail de traduction de Hubner sur L'attente l'oubli. ‎Unsere Silhouette diente möglicherweise als Vorbild eines Silhouettenstichs im Gegensinn in Zierrahmen von Heinrich Christoph Gebhard Grape (1761- 1834; Porträtsammlung der Österr. Nationalbibliothek). - Hufnagel wurde 1779 Professor in Erlangen. 1786 war er Rektor der Universität, 1788 wurde er zum Universitätsprediger und Senior des Predigerseminars ernannt. Später wirkte er in Frankfurt.‎
